Who is responsible for your data

Information we collect
We collect the account, profile, job-posting and application information you provide to operate FamSport. This can include your name, email address, club information, professional information, messages and files you upload with an application, such as a CV.
Why we use information
We process your information to provide the FamSport service, create and manage accounts, publish and manage opportunities, process applications, communicate about the service and protect the platform against misuse. The legal bases for this processing are the performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating a secure recruitment platform and, where required, your consent.
Who can access your information
Job applications are shared only with the club or recruiter responsible for that opportunity. We use carefully selected service providers to operate FamSport, including Supabase for authentication, database and protected file storage, Vercel for hosting, Resend for transactional email and OpenAI for Career Coach messages. These providers process data only as necessary to provide their services to us.
Storage, security and transfers
Personal data and documents are stored using protected infrastructure. Access is restricted according to the role and purpose of each account, with Row Level Security applied to platform data. Some providers may process data outside Portugal or the European Economic Area; where this occurs, we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and recruitment information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you request account deletion through your profile settings, we permanently delete your account, profile, applications, job posts and uploaded files without undue delay. We may retain specific information only where required to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute or prevent fraud.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of or restriction of your personal data, object to certain processing and request portability of the data you provided. We may update this policy when the platform or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be available on this page.
